Product Description

Maintaining the original BMW quality, the VF supercharger kit is a great choice for smooth and reliable power. The completely rewritten ECU software by us at Tuning Tech FS allows you to maximize the kit's full potential by taking advantage of a custom tune with each kit. The kit comes with a Vortech supercharger with CNC machined T3 anodized aluminum 6061-T6 bracket system. The unit is positioned in line with a bolt-on crank pulley with an additional active OEM tensioner using a dedicated serpentine belt. The key to reliable supercharger systems is the active belt tensioner which eliminates belt slip. The supercharger air ducts are custom molded in-house from polypropylene plastic to give an OEM appearance, quality and function. The incorporated Bosch boost overrun system is designed for smooth off-throttle cruising and deceleration. The crankcase ventilation system is designed to cope with positive pressure and high flow fuel injectors are supplied to fit as direct replacements without modification to the injector rail. A removable plastic air box is provided with the K&N induction filter for those who use their vehicles in persistently wet climates. The supercharger system remains fully OBD2 compliant and is supported by a 1 year unlimited mileage warranty on the product through the manufacturer. Installation can be performed in approximately 8-10 hours and is non-intrusive, allowing it to be fully reversible. The linear power delivery is well suited for both automatic and manual transmissions as it remains within conservative tolerances.

This kit may be upgraded to the Tuning Tech FS 540 Supercharger Stage 2 kit that was designed and R&D in our facitly using the VF hardware. Please contact us for details.
